ByAnnie Bella Quilt Coat — Two-Session Class, November 9 & 16

Make the coat people keep asking about. The ByAnnie Bella Quilt Coat is the pattern behind the quilted coats turning up everywhere — structured, wearable, and built to show off whatever fabric you fall in love with. Over two sessions you will work through the construction with someone who knows these patterns properly.

You will cover choosing and preparing your quilted fabric, cutting a coat from it without wasting yardage, sizing and fit, assembling the body and sleeves, and finishing the edges so the whole thing hangs the way a coat should rather than the way a quilt does.

The week in between is yours. Sessions are a week apart on purpose — you will leave the first Monday knowing exactly what to work on at home, and come back on the 16th to push through the parts that are easier with help at your elbow.

Make it yours. Bella has four expansion packs, all stocked here, and you can build any combination into your coat:

• Arcs & Beauties — foundation paper pieced curves worked into the coat
• Accent Sleeves — foundation paper pieced sleeve designs
• Backpack Straps & Pockets — turn it into something you can carry
• Hood — because Arkansas winters are unserious right up until they aren't

Come with a plan or come and decide here. We will help you work out what suits your fabric and how much time each option takes.

What to bring: the Bella Quilt Coat pattern plus any expansion packs you want to use, available in the shop. Your sewing machine in good working order, or use a shop machine at no extra charge. A rotary cutter, mat, and ruler. A full fabric and supply list goes out when you register — come talk to us before class if you would like help choosing, because this one rewards thinking it through first.

Skill level: Confident beginner and up. You should be comfortable with your machine and a quarter-inch seam. No garment experience required.

Please note: this is one class across two sessions, and your registration covers both.

Registration & Cancellation

Seats are limited to 6 so everyone gets hands-on time, and we need at least 3 registered for a class to run. Your seat is confirmed once payment is received.

To cancel, call the shop at 501-205-1975 during business hours or email create@seamssewcrazy.com. Notice is counted from when we receive your call or email — please don't cancel through social media, since we may not see it in time.

• 7+ days before class — full refund to your original payment method.
• Fewer than 7 days — store credit for the full amount, good on anything in the shop. You're also welcome to send someone in your place; just call and give us their name.
• No-shows without notice are not eligible for a refund or credit.
• If we cancel for low enrollment or weather — full refund, or move your seat to the next session, your choice.
• If a class fills, call and ask to be added to the waiting list. When we have three waiting, we add a second session.
